Moonrise Over The City
Now I see you in the city
Can you imagine that?!
Me, who thought society was the devil
Condemned the creations of man
Only saw your face in nature
Now I look over the city
4 million people
Bustling around busy
Creating, sustaining, destroying
Each in their own way
I see your face in the skyscrapers
In that golden one that looks like a temple
In the lost people
Who stop on our street to take pictures
I see them looking for you
Your signature
In each of your creations
In the challenges you create for me
I see you there too
And all I can say is
Thank you
Thank you for revealing
Yourself to me again
Thank you for hiding
So I can find you
In infinite ways
And look!
Sometimes it’s you
That finds me
I will never tire of the way we play
My favorite game
Hide and go seek with God
